Vokai lost the immunity challenge, and it seemed like the vote would be split between Noura and Jason, who were both on the outside of the main alliance. Lairo lost yet another immunity challenge, and as they prepped to go back to tribal, names like Karishma, Dean, and Chelsea were thrown around. Ultimately, Chelsea was voted out because she was part of a potential couple with Dean. In the end, Noura received just two votes, and Elaine was voted out with five. Then, Dan used one of his immunity idols to save Angelina. This discounted any votes that had been made for Christian and Angelina.

Even though they were post-merge, the castaways were again separated into two separate teams during this episode. One person from each group would be able to win immunity, and each group went to a separate Tribal Council to vote somebody out. One of the best parts of watching Survivor is getting to know a new group of castaways season after season, and fans enjoy rooting for their favorite player to win. But of course, only one person will be crowned Sole Survivor at the end of the show, leaving 19 players empty-handed. Each player makes a case for themself and answers jury questions at the final tribal.
All the players get a clue to a secret advantage, but they can’t start searching for it until they correctly solve a word scramble. Karla solves the puzzle first, but is slowed down by a hurt ankle. Owen is next to solve correctly, but Karla finds the advantage first. Since Karla has various injuries and knows she’s a threat in the game, the advantage comes at a good time.
During the reward challenge, which was an afternoon picnic, Michael, Sebastian, Kellyn, Jenna and Chelsea win the reward, and Angela is sent to Ghost Island after a rock draw. While both tribes seemed solid at the start, Lairo lost the first challenge in a blowout, sending Elizabeth to the Island of the Idols to learn from Boston Rob and Sandra. Elizabeth's closest allies had just been voted out, so when the castaways were presented with a "eat or compete" immunity challenge, the Olympic swimmer decided to participate. As Justine herself outlined at Tribal Council, the Vesi tribe had settled into three pairs in its first few days. Justine believed she had her closest ally Noelle, as well as the middle pair in Dwight and Jesse, to get rid of weak link Nneka. But Jesse was looking to get rid of Justine, fearing she was already a threat for his game.
However, once they got to Tribal Council, Ronnie annoyed everyone with his selfish monologue and otherwise untrustworthiness. While two votes ended up going towards Vince, poker player Ronnie ended up being the first castaway voted off of the island when seven of his tribe mates voted him out. Even after a tribe swap, the Lairo tribe continued with its losing streak. It seemed like Karishma was going to be voted out, as she was the slowest during both the immunity and the reward challenges, but her willingness to flip on her old tribe kept her safe.
Additionally, the hunt for advantages truly made sure that every vote counts. In fact, it caused a mad scramble leading up to this week's Tribal Council, leading into the second person eliminated from the game. Survivor 43reached the final week of the game, and the intensity continued to ramp up. A classic challenge was an exercise in mental and physical torture that led to a never-before-seen outcome.

We should expect to see a thirteen-week run as is typical which takes us out to December 2018 for the season finale. Now, Cassidy has to choose who she wants to sit next to her in the final, and which two players she wants to make fire to earn the final spot. She knows Jesse is the biggest threat, and wants to put him in the fire-making challenge against whoever has the best chance at beating him. Meanwhile, Owen and Gabler both WANT to go up against Jesse so they can hopefully beat him and earn more points their his own resumes. Owen and Cassidy debate whether they should try and take Karla or Jesse out.
